I've been searching, scouring and looking through the numerous photos stored on my external hard drives. I'm searching for the comical photo pages I have of Baby Blue from last winter and still haven't found it. For someone who usually thinks of herself as fairly organized, my photos are not. The upside to spending hours searching for that one long lost photo... finding other gems that have been long forgotten.
These gems are obviously not from last winter. I took these in April of 2004 on our honeymoon, with our cheap (well, not quite cheap at the time) little point and shoot. Way before I was even into photography, had no idea what a blog was and I'd never even heard of iPhoto, Aperture or Photoshop.
I just had fun capturing the scenes we were enveloped in.
I loved the scenery, morning, noon and night.
For anyone living in the deep north... don't these just make you feel a little warmer. I need a vacation.
I am going to have to force my husband to a tropical place, and I'm going to have to be okay leaving the children back with someone else....why? Because I don't want them here in gorgeous waters like these, beaches....I want to be left alone. :) I love my babies.
ReplyDeleteWow, Tabitha! Those are some beautiful shots, even if they were taken with a point and shoot! (Which is what I use...I would love to have a digital SLR!) Reminds me of my own honeymoon in Jamaica. The waters were blue like that, and the sands were white...and the flowers were vibrant colors.
