Yes, it has actually been since Sunday night that I said goodbye to Dallas and I've been home, but yesterday was spent playing with my sweet Baby Blue... playing together, cooking together and napping together. It was a good thing I had this post ready.
Though I only took a few photos, besides this shoot, I was intrigued by stairways. I'm not sure why.

Maybe these stairways caught my attention because I know I'm at the beginning of my own new journey. A journey I'm extremely excited about, but can only take one step at a time.
new journeys are always filled with both excitement + trepidation. there is so much unknown that lies ahead, but therein lies the beauty. i love the photos + the quote you chose for this post, perfection.

Stairs are fantastic. I am drawn to them as well as trees (taking the picture straight up...). I think it is the looking upward that I like!

that's what i think of when i see these photos...the excitement of what lies at the end of the pathway...what new things will you find...and a little scarriness makes it even more exciting cause you can't see where they lead to..interesting post girlie...glad you made it home safely...feed that new baby and get some rest! blessings..
