Since the theme this week at 'i heart faces' is 'no flash,' it was almost harder to choose a photo. I almost NEVER use a flash, which means, all of my photos with faces would qualify. So, I just randomly chose a folder, took a quick look through and selected one. To me, it represents Spring perfectly. The bright and cheery colors, squinting as we grow accustomed to the sunlight leading our day, green grass and time spent outdoors as we stretch away the winter.
Enjoy your Spring days... and your photos without having to use the flash!
Did you notice the hair on Baby Blue? That is not how I styled it. This shot was taken moments after a wrestling match between her and that giant pink ball. I barely managed to free her of dangling pieces of grass before we took this.
Please excuse me now as I go make my to-do list for Spring-time cleaning and organizing, I guess that's another part of Spring that's coming to mind now... maybe I'll just go outside instead.
She really is the cutest thing! My daughter's hair style also leaves much to be desired, despite me spending endless hours trying to fix it. I love that shot, so happy and carefree!
i also try not to use the flash when i can. i just made a "spring" to-do list last night and it's long...the sun is out so i don't know if i'll be crossing anything off that list today ;)
i love the photo, the love on your faces, the curiosity on hers. and the hair is perfectly toddler. i just wrote something about spring cleaning today + then decided we may just have to skip it and head outside to play too. have a wonderful day.
again the photography is great as always, and i simply love you and chris in the background, but what always makes your pics in particular is aliyah's expressions...that look of concentration and determination, coupled with pure sweetness draws you right to her every time! blessings...
She's so pretty. I love the effect of this picture. The bright ball, the green spring grass, the adorable look on her face and the smiles in the background. Perfect!
It's those crazy hair from fighting with big pink ball days that we'll remember when they get older. LOVE the shot! and thanks for stopping by The Chicken Nuggets of Wisdom on my BIG SITS day!
She is too adorable. She just steals the photos. No offense, of course....she's just too much. :)
