Sometimes my daughter just likes to climb. To have her feet off of the ground brings such a thrill. It doesn't matter how high, she doesn't ever seem to notice.
I, on the other hand, do.
I notice the pride she takes in getting to the top all be herself. I notice the big grin that attaches to her lips the moment she looks down. I notice the daring way she wants to try and balance, without holding on.
I'll remind her of all this the moment she wants to pass on a roller-coaster ride.

ReplyDeleteshe's so stinkin adorable!!!...asher was on a carnival ride and rode a camel the same day (w/me of course, lol) at 10 months old! they develop a healthy sense of adventure and don't have time for unreasonable fear if we encourage to fly when it's safe to do so...good for you! blessings...

ReplyDeleteShe looks like such a sweet little girl! Cherish the moments as they don't last long! My daughters both love to climb on everything as well. It really makes me wish I was a kid again. I remember climbing on everything and trusting my limbs to hold me!
