The day brought us to the local strawberry patch, picking, tasting and searching for the reddest, ripest strawberries.  The best part was hearing, "Mommy, I found one!!" being squealed with excitement.  That and running through the sprinklers that were watering the unpicked strawberry patch to cool off.

  13. I'm sitting here sick with a raging head cold, and I was able to smile through it thanks to your post. Nothing like living vicariously. My children have been pushed (gently) outside while I wallow in my tissues.

    Happy Summer!

  14. Wow, that's amazing! Our strawberry picking season is already over. Obviously you can still buy good strawberries in the grocery stores, but actually picking them? No way. Our season starts at the beginning of May!

  21. How fun is that?! I love strawberries. I've never been to a strawberry patch, I'll have to see if we have any that are open to the public. That would be so much fun!
