Since our house is currently being taken over by strawberries, this was my dinner last night. After a tiring, beautiful, long, fun-filled, exhausting, hot, laugher-laden, tantrum-averting, bright, sunny day we were hungry. As my husband and daughter attacked their dinner, I whipped up some biscuits, mashed a few handfuls of the fresh strawberries and made 'whipped cream' from coconut milk. This was the result, and it was delicious. I didn't want to eat anything else... and I didn't.
Oh, and in case you didn't figure it out yet, the answer to yesterday's question is coming soon!

ReplyDeleteTabitha -- This is perfection -- both the food and the photo. And you know that a biscuit shortcake is the only real shortcake -- these grocery-store pound-cake things are just sad. Thanks so much for sharing.
