What do these two have in common?
Actually, I don't know what her real name is, but that's what I call her. Because she's sweet. And because she reminds me of honey. Just look at that beautiful caramel coloring. Maybe I should call her caramel instead.
I'll just stick with Honey. Honey the Giraffe.
This is Honey asking for a cracker. She sticks out her tongue and directs it just so that it points to the treat in your hand. It's sweet. Really sweet.

I was expecting to have a hand full of goo after she licked the cracker out of it, but surprisingly, Honey had a pretty dry tongue.

We enjoyed meeting Honey. I invited her to stay with us for awhile, but I guess my offer just wasn't too enticing. I wasn't holding the bucket of crackers, or the large leaf covered tree branch. Next time I'll be better prepared.

ReplyDeleteI love Giraffes. I will never forget when we went through a Safari and one came up to the car. I was eating a bagel with cream cheese and had a huge schmear on my hand. It stuck out that huge tongue and effortlessly wiped my hand clean. It was hysterical.
