Baby Boy Blue

The moment finally came that we were all waiting for... baby boy or baby girl.

As the ultrasound technician announced that we were indeed having a boy, Aliyah announced, "But I want a baby girl." Her feelings on the matter quickly changed back to excitement when we told her that she would still be a big sister whether mommy was having a baby boy or girl.

That and the fact that Chris told her she could have a gum ball.

It took such a long time to actually get a profile shot. Wherever the wand would move, Baby Boy Blue would move to face it... moving is something he does well. I think he just wanted to say hello himself.

  7. I had that mama gut it was a boy....! Congrats having one of each is such a beautiful blessing and lil Miss with enjoy having a lil bro she won't have to worry about having to share her cloths!!!

  14. Congrats. My daughter, being the first wanted a baby sister when I was pregnant with my son. She was so insisting on it that I was afraid to tell her when he was born. But later that day she bounced into my room and asked "Where's my Bubba"?. She was 6.5 yrs. older then him. And although I had an ultrasound, I did not wish to know that sex, that was 22 yrs. ago.
    Congrats again. Next...a name!
