Someone Please Bubble-Wrap Our House

monkey

Giggles and smiles and a very wet raspberry noise when asked to say Mama. Crawling and scooting and pulling up on anything that falls into the height of about two feet. Erupting in excitement at his own reflection in the mirror. And now, this? Climbing The Stairs. And I fear that because I grabbed my phone to record him instead of anything else, like taking him off of the stairs for example, he just seeing this climbing the stairs thing as part of his normal, necessary evening exercise routine. My little monkey, though a total rockstar monkey.

Someone please bring the bubble-wrap.

  3. I know the feeling! My littlest lovey's favorite thing to do is climb the stairs :). Seems like he always has a bruise (or two or three...) on that sweet little head these days.

  6. It's so funny you called him monkey because I was just thinking today that I might dress Lucas up as a monkey cause he is freaking climbing on everything! We only have the one step into the dining room and he wants to play on it all day. I think I actually broke a sweat today chasing him to the step..it was literally all day, lol. That and trying to get into the dishwasher. He giggles and squeals when you pull him away and then "runs". Anyhoo.. what a long comment, lol!

  7. oh man! I highly suggest the baby gate/playard thing. :) It's been working like a charm for us and keeps him away from the stairs. Of course our stairs are in the basement which may make a huge difference...
