Love Rocks

Today is the day we all steep a little deeper in the hopeless red of romanticism... or at least a day we can be a little extra fun and flirty, while chocolate shaped hearts disappear in our ravenous attempts to eat as much as we can while we're allowed the extra calories.  And though I'm 300 miles from my three favorite valentines, I'm still gonna' spread the crimson on my pout, bat my lashes and let a little extra love seep into the day...

LOVE and some of my chocolate calories in the form of grapefruit sized cupcakes from my Always Valentine, brought in covertly by a friend for us all to share while standing on our feet all day. How sweet is that?!

And when I do see my loves tomorrow? Oh you'd better believe they're all in for some passionate eskimo style nose rubs and hugs that last hours.



I was looking everywhere for a heart shaped rug, and when I couldn't find one I liked, I took an old fluffy Christmas rug and cut it into a heart shape. And the rockstar onesie I made by using rhinestone transfers and a plain old black onesie from Hobby Lobby. The LOVE letters found in the dollar bins at Target. Voila!








Bray gets excited for Aliyah to hold him for all of about twenty seconds, and then she squeezes tighter and he squeals and wiggles away, and I think Aliyah thinks he's playing.  It's adorable. And hilarious.









So, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!  Or as some of my single friends call it, Happy Halloween (Hi, Martin!).

However you choose to celebrate, make sure to celebrate LOVE today... and just a little bit everyday.
