Last night culminated this past season of softball and dragging our big blue chairs and small striped kids' seats to the field to watch Chris and the rest of his team run the bases in hopes of passing home plate a few more times than the other team. Playoffs came and went. Did we win? No, but we sure had fun.
At one point while my sister-in-law was up to bat, Aliyah yelled out from her little chair perched behind the fence set up right next to the player's bench.
"Crystal, you just have to believe!"
I'm living by those words today, with all the bases loaded and the pressure of hitting a home run is on me. But, I believe.

I KNOW THAT'S RIGHT!!! So awesome...and so true. ;)
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHA!!! I will never forget those words!!!
ReplyDeleteI love how this picture captures summer and a game/moment so well. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteThat photo is wonderful with the light against the fence! Hope it was a great night at the ballpark for everyone.

Have a nice day, Tabitha!
Powerful words! Great post :)
ReplyDeleteWe believe with you! I know what it's like to step out from the stable known, blindly into the unknown. Life just wouldn't be as exciting without all about the surprises along the journey! You just have to believe :)
