When It Rains

Last night, it rained. Hard.

Chris and I stepped off of the plane, home from a quick trip away and right into the arms of our awaiting littles... who just so happened to pick us up from the airport in a welcome wagon. Quite literally.

A cerulean sky with pink and white cotton candied clouds ushered us through the day, and we were glad to be home, out of the chilly gray days and wet air that we'd been experiencing in Baltimore and back under sunny skies.

By late afternoon a dark wall came low and quick over the horizon with thunder proudly announcing it's arrival. And by evening we felt it's presence with it's quick and heavy footprints that rinsed away the sunshine and drenched our parched earth.

And so, we played. And laughed. And danced... in the rain.

I figured it was just easier to let them show you.
