Home and Undone... And an Afternoon with the Tigers

Today we're home. A long week away, late nights laughing with friends and family, chasing older cousins and holding a new little baby cousin, full schedules and quick lunches with missed besties... and returning to a day of rain all adds up to sleepy kids and leaving things bit undone.

I'll finish the laundry and unpack the bags, I'll sort through photos and video, I'll dig through a trail of emotions that need exploration and words, I'll get to the list of summer house projects and clean my way through our closets... but for now, a sprinkling has passed and the afternoon calls for rain. I think cozy and calm and a bit undone is the way today will remain.

In the meantime, a look at an afternoon with my littlest. While big sis was away, our time spent focused on him was immeasurably precious, something usually only a firstborn truly experiences. But for ten days, this little one did just that.
