As I gaze upon the sky in it's beautiful color exchange, while it leaves goodnight kisses for daylight and welcomes the starry night in a close embrace, I think of you. Miles away and yet still we're under this same sky, this one giant canvas of art that connects us, for we're looking at the same masterpiece. The same entwine between the sky's lovers happens as I tilt my head up, past the buildings that try to pierce the veil, beyond the stars waiting to glimmer as darkness covers and I smile, knowing you're there... some 1300 miles away, yet close in the beauty of this horizon.
I took this photo with my iPhone today and shared first on Instagram. You can find me as TabithaBlue, I'd love to "meet" you there!
"The sky was clear - remarkably clear - and the twinkling of all the stars seemed to be but throbs of one body, timed by a common pulse." ~Thomas Hardy
