Halfway! We are at the infamous halfway point and excitedly ready to find out if Big Brother and Big Sister will be gifted with a Little Brother or a Little Sister. It's been hard trying not to know, with this beautiful pregnancy lending itself to many ultrasounds... it's my doctor's preferred way of "hearing" the heartbeat with this one and they've been asking if we want to know who we're having for awhile now. The thing is? We know that we're having a wonderful wee one in just about 20 more short weeks and we know that this little one is already loved. We know that baby bunny is a gift from heaven and we're thankful with whispered prayers, recklessly in love already. We know that our world will soon be filled with the scent of milky baby breath and sweet little tufts of beautiful, kissable hair. We know that we'll be equally excited to find out little boy or little girl, and so that doesn't much matter at this point. And so for now, we wait. The time will come soon, though for now, the fun of this stashed envelope with the "revealing" photo inside and guesses of baby names and colors of clothing will suffice. Soon, we will know. Right now, it's just pure love.
Half way, super! It's great to have an exciting reason for a big belly.
